| Amindo Packaging Industries Sdn. Bhd., a Taiwanese owned manufacturing company, was founded and based in Penang mainland. It was incorporated on the 1st of June, 1997 under the leadership of company director, Mr. Chen Mei Te. During the Company's infancy, the initial product line of edge board protector and paper core sales were mainly with packaging trading companies but these were replaced in the following years with direct links to major manufacturing companies. |

| Amindo's strenght in the Malaysian market was further increased by the establishment in 2000 of its sister company, AMD Packaging Sdn. Bhd., based in Kuala Lumpur. The role of this new company was to capture a greater share of Kuala Lumpur market and increase Amindo's distribution network. With Amindo and AMD working together to dominate West Malaysia, a plan was formulated for further expansion 2003. AMD packaging unveiled its Johor Bahru factory with the capacity to meet the demand of the booming south-east asia market. |
